Corona virus is a group of viruses that can cause illness form mild to severe symtoms to death. There are two types of corona virus can cause severe clinical symptoms, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). COVID-19 often develops into a severe pneumonia and puts patient in a critical condition. Viral infection is characterized by an upper respiratory tract infection whose signs and symptoms usually include fever, headache and cough. Fever itself is a sign that there is a disease in the body caused by virus that requires further medical attention. Firs aid for fever caused by the corona virus is giving antipyretics. Antipyretic is a class of drugs whose target is to lower temperature. Some of the drugs included in this group are Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen and Aspirin. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the antipyretic used in reducing fever symptoms that arise in patients with COVID-19 at RST dr. Asmir Salatiga for the period May-December 2020. The type of research is descriptive conducted with a retrospective survey of 56 patient prescriptions COVID-19 hospitalizations receiving antipyretic. The results obtained from this study are of the male gender antipyretic use, which yields a high percentage of 58.93%, while those of the female gender percentage is 41,07%. Then the patient who uses the most advanced antipyretic drugs is elderly at a percentage of 48.21%. The most widely used antipyretic drugs are paracetamol, with a percentage of 57.14%. The most widely used remedy in the COVID-19 inpatient in dr. Asmir Salatiga is a ready form of tablets with a percentage of 75,00%. Keywords: COVID-19, Fever, Antipyretics
