The pharmacy installation is part of the clinic in charge of organizing,
coordinating, regulating, and supervising all pharmacy service activities as well
as carrying out pharmaceutical technical guidance at the clinic. One of the
pharmaceutical techniques in the clinic is planning. The problem that often occurs
in inventory planning is excess stock (stagnant) and a shortage of drug stock
(stockout). In the evaluation of inventory planning is done by using the control
method so that the planning that is held can be optimal. The purpose of this
study was to determine the evaluation of quantitative antibiotic supply planning at
the Kumala Siwi Main Clinic Pharmacy Installation, Jepara.
This research is a descriptive observational study with a cross section
study design. Retrospective data retrieval using a stock card of the use of
antibiotics was recorded in 2020 with a total sampling technique. The methods in
this study are the EOQ method and the MMSL method.
Based on the quantitative evaluation of antibiotic inventory planning
research at the Kumala Siwi Main Clinic Pharmacy Installation, it can be
concluded that the planning. Evaluation using the EOQ method can reduce the
number of antibiotics in stock and increase the number of normal stock antibiotics
compared to using the MMSL method.
