Drug management is a cycle which is an important aspect, to manage
effectively and efficiently in order to improve the quality of health services. The
purpose of this study was to determine drug management at the distribution
stage.
This study used a non-experimental method with a sample of all datas
at the pharmacy and warehouse at the Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Regional
Hospital Purwodadi in 2020. This research instrument uses primary data in the
form of direct observation and secondary data in the form of 2020 documents for
stock cards compatibility, purchase data, vacancies, damaged or expired drugs,
and death stock drugs. The research data is processed by calculating the
indicator values according to the stages and presented in tabular form.
The results showed that the percentage of drug availability was 76%.
The TOR result is 8.8 times, the suitability of the drug is considered inefficient
with a yield of 80.2%, the percentage of expired and damaged drugs is 2.23%,
and the percentage of dead stock is 0.66%. The proposed improvement plan
using the Hanlon Method is to establish a PFT, evaluate the planning and
procurement drug systems, develope SOP for the Distribution of Pharmaceutical
Supplies, conduct competency training in IFRS, improve the monitoring and
supervision system for dead stock, collect data on drugs that are approaching
expiration dates, and implement a management system based on IT.
