Risk is a condition of uncertainty and can be determined quantitatively.
Every activity in the Pharmacy Installation contains risks. Risk management is a
process of identifying, measuring, analyzing, and dealing with risks that may arise
when providing services. The application of management is expected to reduce
and eliminate the losses incurred for the use of health services. This study aims
to determine the implementation of risk management in the Pharmacy Installation
of the Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Hospital Purwodadi.
This research is a non-experimental research with descriptive method,
colleting data retrospectively with total sampling technique. Samples were taken
from the Quality Control Department’ s data in 2020. The data were tabulated
and presented in percentages for further qualitative and quantitative analysis.
From the result it is known that the type of incident that has the most
incidence is IP (Injury Potential) in the category of prescription services. This is
caused by human resources factor, infrastructure, SOP, and formulary.
Implementation of Risk Management in the Pharmacy Installation of the Dr. R.
Soedjati Soemodiardjo Hospital Purwodadi still not effective, because there are
still obstacles in several stages of the Risk Management process.
