EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTI DIABETES ORAL KOMBINASI INSULIN PASIEN RAWAT INAP PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH MAYONG JEPARA TAHUN 2020



Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder disease and is a
degenerative disease which is ranked 4th based on national research. Diabetes
mellitus can be treated with oral antidiabetics, where blood glucose levels are not
well controlled requiring insulin therapy. The existence of irrational therapy can
have side effects that can affect the patient's quality of life.
This study aims to determine the accuracy of inpatient use of antidiabetic
drugs in type-2 DM patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Mayong Jepara Hospital for
the 2020 period based on the standards used. descriptive analysis method. From
the results of this study, it can be seen that the characteristics of patients with
diabetes mellitus based on gender were 59 people (57.3%) and 44 people
(42.7%). The most widely used oral antidiabetic drug group was the biguanide
group with 35 drugs (33.0%), fast-acting insulin group, namely Apidra as much as
46 (44.7%) and the most common oral antidiabetic drug combination insulin was
metformin + Apidra as much 24 (23.3%). Accuracy studies based on the
administration of oral antidiabetic drugs to patients found inaccuracies in the right
patients as many as 4 patients (3.9%).
