Electronic prescribing is one of the methods used to reduce the rate of
treatment errors by eliminating risk factors associated with handwritten
prescriptions. Medication error is defined as a failure in the treatment process that
leads or has the potential to cause harm and harm to the patient. This study aims
to find out the influence of e-prescribing in minimizing medication error at RSUD
K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang.
This type of research is analytical observational with cross sectional
research design. The design of this study is to analyze the influence (e-prescribing)
in minimizing the occurrence of medication error in RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro
Semarang.
The results showed that there is an influence of e-prescribing in minimizing
the occurrence of medication error in RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Semarang
with the results of linear regression test obtained significance value of 0.002 and
the regression equation is Y = 22.333 – 11.667x. The magnitude of the effect of eprescribing in minimizing medication error by 0.517 or 51.7%.
