Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) better
known as the Corona virus is a new type of coronavirus that is transmitted to
humans. Corona virus infection is called COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019)
and was first discovered in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of December
2019. This virus spreads very quickly and has spread to almost all countries,
including Indonesia, in just a few months.
This research uses cross sectional research method. This study uses
patient data from 4 hospitals in Blora with patients infected with the Covid-19
virus who are undergoing antiviral therapy. Analysis of the data was divided into 3
groups: Group 1 is a group that is undergoing therapy with antiviral Oseltamivir,
Group 2 is a group that is undergoing therapy with antiviral Favipiravir and Group
3 is a group that is undergoing therapy not using antiviral Oseltamivir and
Favipiravir. Patient data was taken from the medical records of each hospital in
Blora which consisted of RSUD dr. R Soetidjono Blora, Permata Blora Hospital,
DKT Blora Hospital and PKU Muhammadiyah Cepu Blora in the period
December 2019 to December 2020.
The results showed that 92.5% (123 patients) who received Favipiravir
therapy had a good outcome, while 7.5% (10 patients) were declared dead. A
total of 80.5% (107 patients) who did not receive Favipiravir therapy showed an
improvement in outcome, while 19.5% (26 patients) reported death. Based on the
