EVALUASI HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT DIABETUS MELITUS (DM) DENGAN KOMPLIKASI DI PUSKESMAS KOTA PURWODADI



Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease with long-term and complex
treatment where one of the determinants of the success of dependent therapy
that requires treatment for type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients can result in low
adherence to blood glucose control drugs and increase the risk of complications.
This study was conducted to evaluate medication adherence and the
factors that influence non-adherence to drug use in DM patients with
complications at the Purwodadi City Health Center using the MMAS-8 method by
observing Prolanis patients who regularly visit. This research was conducted in
March 2021.
The results of the study of adherence to taking DM medication at the
Purwodadi 2 Health Center were more than half non-compliant, namely 27
respondents (62.5%) and 13 respondents (27.5%). And more than half of the
respondents experienced complications, namely 21 respondents (52.5%) the rest
had no complications as many as 19 respondents (47.5%). There is a
relationship between the level of compliance with the presence or absence of
